Southern Voice reports that Q Television Network is experiencing some serious financial problems. Jack E. Jett, co-host of Q Television Network’s “Queer Edge,” says he hasn’t received a paycheck in two months and no one else who works on his show has been getting paid either.

A recent statement issued from the company’s then-CEO Olsen stated that the entire company was being restructured.

“This could take 3-4 weeks, but everyone will be paid and brought up to date,” read the statement. “We deeply regret any inconvenience or hardship this has caused our staff and the gay community.”

Jett said the missed paychecks created financial difficulties for his young production team members.

“These kids are living with mom, working off debts,” he said. “Some people were not able to pay bills or buy groceries.”

The network announced yesterday that it will be replacing its chief executive officer; Lloyd Fan, QTN’s former interim president, will be succeeding founding CEO Frank Olsen. A news release also stated that Q Television Network is undergoing a companywide overhaul and relieved all members of their board of directors of their responsibilities yesterday.
