Stacy Schupmann, an advisor for the master’s programs in education at the Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California, presented “The L Word: Creating a real legacy in a woman’s fraternity” last week as part of Gender and Sexuality Week at USC. Stacy, who remained closeted to her Alpha Gamma Delta sisters while she was an undergraduate, says she can count the number of lesbians she knows in sororities on two hands and that number “greatly declines when (I count) who is out.”
