The whole Jeff Gannon story is pretty boring to me. I pay so little attention to it that I just found out today, while reading his interview with PlanetOut that he’s now a blogger. I told ya, queers love blogs.

I’m disappointed that he doesn’t want to talk about his “past.” He did touch on the gay issue though:

Do you feel you’ve been “outed” as gay? What do you think of “outing”?

I think people believe I have been “outed,” but I continue to maintain that my personal life is private. I think “outing” is a mean-spirited practice that is meant to blackmail, punish and destroy. Gays who do such things win no one to their cause.

I think we all know what “my personal life is private” is code for.

Personally, this is my favorite part:

Do you believe the Bush administration’s reputation as being anti-gay is deserved?

Not at all. Clinton instituted “don’t ask, don’t tell” when gay activists were demanding to openly serve in the military. He also signed the Defense of Marriage Act, which is still in force.

Yea, but not because God told him to.
