Alex Parks says she finds Tatu’s behavior insulting and offensive to real lesbians.

The singer, who came out on the BBC show, said the pair were wrong to pretend to be lesbians in order to sell records.

“It is insulting to see Tatu acting the way they do,” she said in a recent interview, adding that the act is offensive to real lesbians.

“It feels like they’re trying to make a bit of a joke out of being a lesbian.”

“It’s sad.”

After Tatu left their original manager, they promised to avoid stunts like their kissing in schoolgirl outfits scene from the video for their debut single All The Things She Said.

Parks says however that their new material is awful and, coupled with the faux relationship, is offensive.

“If their music was any good then it might help, but their latest record sounds exactly like the previous one,” she said.
