Utah Jazz Owner Larry Miller Pulls ‘Brokeback Mountain’ from the Megaplex at Jordan Commons

Utah Jazz owner Larry Miller, setting “an example for the people of Utah,” according to the president of the conservative Utah Eagle Forum, Gayle Ruzicka, abruptly pulled “Brokeback Mountain” from the film schedule of the Megaplex at Jordan Commons, a movie theater he owns located in a suburb of Salt Lake City, last week before what would have been the movie’s first showing on Friday.

Egh, it’s a Salt Lake City suburb. What can we expect?, you say? Janis Reid of Celebricious says Salt Lake City has a surprisingly large gay and lesbian community and she’s got the numbers of some flirty transsexuals to prove it. Flirty transsexuals = much more fun than I have been having lately, and in SLC.

An email calling for a boycott of Larry Miller’s businesses is currently circulating.
