You know, the more the gay community speaks crap about people who have a right to vote, the worse it makes them look in the public eye. This whole gay marriage issue is claimed to be about equality, yet these loud mouths go around and treat people unequal. The person votes with their dollars and at the poll (you assume the same way as their donation) and because you don't like the way they vote, you trash them. That's why these privacy concerns come up. Gays have gone up to doors knocking and telling these people off in their neighborhoods. So uncool. I am against gay marriage. I am for civil unions. The reason is simple, a gay couple (for the most part) cannot make babies, they were born that way. A straight couple (for the most part) can make babies. They were born that way. I'm sorry hon, gay and straight couples are NOT 100% equal, so leave your silly equality issue at the door, and focus on what is equal in relationships. Leave the term "marriage" exclusive to straight couples, and use "partnership" for gay couples as legal terms. Provide basically the same legal rights. Poof, fight over the word is over. Rights are there. Now we can go on to more important things like the inequalities of gay blood. Oh, in case you are fuming because you think I'm a straight fundamentalist jerk, you are so wrong, I'm gay and totally against gay marriage, totally for gay unions.

If a business makes a donation its usually in the spirit that they want to help a cause and be recognized for donating to that cause.

If these individuals all the sudden have a problem for being recognized for their deed, then obviously they know they must have done something to be ashamed of or better yet something that may hurt their business.

While I do agree with the right to privacy Companies and Business do not make donations with the notion of not getting noticed for it, period. These Companies and Businesses will now have to live up to their choice and face the consequences of there actions.

Prop 8 has brought about alot of controversy and news stories out.com and the advocate.com have been on top of this issue since it first started and many americans are starting to come together and take action against injustice.

I just left this comment on the Dallas Morning News blog site. The blogger was acting like this would start up a new trend in radicalism but has the reporter been asleep for the last 3 or 4 years? Hello??? We live in the age of the internet and your just not ranting about privacy? Where have you been buddy!

Why stop there??? Why not backtrack to EVERYTHING found online when it comes to privacy. Why does this ALERT you more than anything else?

Do you really think these poor "innocent" souls who donated to the Prop 8 are the only people mapped out online or who need to be protected online?

This could be one of the best things that ever happened to wake people up to privacy laws but it also shows the hypocrisy of the conservative media.

On one side we need more privacy online and everywhere. On the flip side I would like to be able to look up the religious extremists in my neighborhood before I move there just like I'd like to make sure there are no convicted felons in my area.

I think Billy still is fuming because so many people found out he had to hand out some cash for some sexual inappropriate behavior he aimed at a co-worker that worked under him....no pun intended.

The "right" has way more skeletons in their closets they don't want anyone to see, hence, their desire to tell everyone they cannot sleep with people of the same sex, but they do it all the time behind closed doors...

Now see how stupid that last paragraph I wrote sounds?

That just shows the mentality, ideology, sociopathic, mental illness these folks suffer from....what I wrote make sense to them....what they do is alway okay and what everyone else does it not.

I think they should go hunting, the whole bunch of them, and remind them to invite Dick Cheney and all their supporters!
