Kylie Minogue looks so happy and so beautiful in that photo leaving a restaurant in Melbourne. She has a big and friendly smile to everyone.

I'm so excited that Ms. Minogue decided to do a few shows here in the states. This is truely a rare opportunity for the states to see a ture DIVA live. I've been a huge fan of her's since the 80s. At her concerts she always has some of the hottest back up dancers. I would be in heaven if I could win tickets to one of her dates.

My Favorite Kylie Moment was when I saw her in Paris Opening Night and she told the crowd to "Talk amongst ourselves" while she drank her tea on stage and then asked where everyone was from. Well I was close to the stage with a group of friends and we screamed San Francisco. She heard and said "Well, that is dedication". I thought I was going to explode with joy!

I have had a million favourite experiences with Kylie, be it "true" moments or dreams. Not one week goes by without me dreaming about her. But the moment I definitely preferred was in November 2007, as after 20 years of hard fanatism, I was able to approach her after a concert she performed in Lyon. I didn't even recognise her when I saw her because she was more beautiful than ever!!!! I cried my eyes out after she had signed me a quick autograph and waved good bye. Kylie has always been my deep inspiration, she has been there through my best and my worst moments. She is my model and in many ways, the big sister I have never had.
I will never thank her enough for everything she has brought me throughout my whole life.
I love you Kylie.

Have two defining moments amongst many.....

Saw our Kyles at G.A.Y Astoria many many moons ago when i was a younger, fitter dancing bunny... Made my way up too dance on the stage about 30 mins before she did her little set, and she was dancing, was so bowled over by her, i fell off the stage and broke my ankle, thus missing the entire evening and looking like a right plonker, and secondly at the Siser Sisters gig in trafalger square, kylie announced the Sisers, and at about 1 min 22 seconds into her speach you can hear me yell "We love you kylie" and she acknowledged... Thus sealing my love of our aussie pint sized princess.....

The first cassette (I'm dating myself here) I ever bought was Kylie's debut album when I was 7 years old in 1991...this being the U.S., it was on a discount rack at what was then known as Coconuts. I absolutely loved it. As I got older and the internet became a phenomenon, I kept looking her up, as I never heard anything about her over here. Lo and behold, she had a career EVERYWHERE ELSE! I ordered more import albums than anyone ever should, and when she broke back onto the charts with "Can't Get You Out of My Head" I became the superfan to end all superfans in the U.S. I saw her 3 times live during her radio show gigs, and joined the now defunct Capitol Kylie street team. I love and adore this woman and the fact she's not a household name here is a TRAVESTY. But at least she has a Grammy :-)

Totally true story that I don't exactly go around telling eveyone but, if its to win something Kylie - I will spill...I was in the second grade and we always had this big Valentines Dance at my elementary school...well, my mother did all of the DJ work for the school and this dance was no exception. Well, this would have been about the time that "I Should Be So Lucky" and "Locomotion" were hits on the radio. So, the faculty always had this "Prince Of (insert grade here)"...all of the boys were nominated and needless to say, I lost. I ran to the boys bathroom to have a good cry only to have my dear mother start up "Locomotion" and have me lead the school in a train like dance because even then, I was a huge Kylie fanatic - not exactly popular with other boys in my class. Not my most flattering moment at all.
So, I leave the bathroom to the beckoning of my mother in the microphone and lead this crowd in what was probably the most akward train dance in the entire world!
To this day - my mother insists on pulling these pictures out whenever anyone is around and saying "I should have known then".

So, there is my favorite Kylie moment - I mean, I have a million - like the first time I heard "Ocean Blue" (bside to "On A Night Like This") or seeing her perform "Dancing Queen" at the Olympics or many, many more - but, this little story from my past seems to be everyone's favorite. Hope you enjoy.

Hmm, I have quite a few personal Kylie moments--but a recent one would have to be hearing The One, from the "X" album all the way through. Aside from being a great, hypnotic, instantly likable song--it brought back a flood of memories. The One screams "unrequited love song" to me. It instantly reminded me of my pre-teen and teenage years--when I was internally struggling with being gay. My best friend was an attractive football athlete and the physical attraction turned into a genuine love over time. There was always an "I know I'm a guy--but love me, want me, pick me--I'm the one" that I struggled to come to terms with during those years. Wanting someone so much, but knowing you can never have them in that way--or that they will never love you back in that way. He was straight, I was an closeted homosexual--it killed me. The euphoric synths and layered vocals mask a certain sadness to "The One." I guess the point of this story--Kylie songs, while club stompers and dancefloor smashes on the surface have always managed to connect with me in a way far beyond that. "The One" is one of the strongest examples of that. And dancing the night away in a packed club full of laser lightshows to a song about unrequited love that instantly reminds you of your "yesteryear/growing pain" longings and desires? Who doesn't want to do that? ;-)

My favorite Kylie moment is when I was at a circuit party and I heard "Can't Get You Out of My Head". I was on the box dancing and it brings back good memories of the hotties and the energy of the party. I happened to be there with a guy named Kyle who went by Kylie when that song was out because we loved it so much.

I already ordered the new X cd from Amazon online but I would love to have the UK Version.
