Her mother is so dysfunctional - ridiculing her for being in a lesbian relationship (please note that I am straight). There are persons in NM who get 8 yrs for manslaughter, murder - her mother and sister did not die!! And to receive 12 years (reduced) when she committed this act due to excessive taunting!!! Her mother and sisters were dictating her life and then for the judge to deny any interaction with Martina (her girlfriend) was uncalled for!!! That poor girl - what really angers me is the rage coming fro the mother and sister - just put her away forever. I hope she never has a relationship again when she is released from that horrible women's prision in Grants, NM!!! I feel that the sentence was too harsh.
