Gioia Bruno Comes Out as Bi on Q Television

Gioia Bruno (former lead singer of Exposé), during an interview on Brunch, told Honey Labrador and Scott Withers: “I never wanted to put a label on myself, but, yes, I have dated women… It’s about the person and what’s in their soul. Right now I am dating a man, but hey, I can still look at the girls. I think everybody’s got a little queer in them.”

Be Selfish. It’s Good for You.

“Selfish has gotten a bad wrap,” writes Paula G. at her Coaching4Lesbians Blog (which I just found while browsing over at Technorati) and I couldn’t agree more.

Paula lists five benefits of learning to be selfish:

1. More energy.
2. It upgrades your personality.
3. Improves your health and well-being.
4. You become more effective and productive.
5. You get more of what you want and less of what you don’t.

Virginia Delegate Bob Marshall: Unmarried Women Shouldn’t Be Allowed to Have Children

A Virginia bill that would have prevented health professionals from performing any procedure to impregnate unmarried women, which was believed by many to be designed to keep lesbians from having children, has been dropped.

Delegate Bob Marshall, who vowed to re-introduce this bill as an amendment to another bill in the future, was quoted comparing unmarried women who turn to medical procedures to become pregnant because they desperately want to have a child to Al Capone being desperate for money. But Bob, if they get really desperate, they might start stealing babies from married women. You know how crazy unmarried women can be - especially those lesbians.

And while we’re on the topic, if they shouldn’t be allowed to be mothers, shouldn’t Virginia offer free abortions to all unmarried pregnant women? And free birth control to all unmarried women? What about men who get unmarried women pregnant? Maybe they should be fined or arrested.
