Women and Men. Please Separate.

Because women now make up almost half of business travelers, hotels are catering to their wishes. And what is it that women want? To be away from men. Yes, Hamilton Crowne Plaza now offers a women-only floor. I prefer the hotels I stay at to not remind me of college dorms, but maybe that’s just me.

What other improvements are being made by hotels for women? Staff to escort them to their rooms (they’re women, they obviously need protection in the hallways) and bathroom counters that won’t frustrate them when leaning over to apply makeup (cause you know how frustrating those damn bathroom counters can be). And how can I forget this – Danielle Steel novels.

That’s like a parody of itself. Maybe they can also match each female guest with a therapist since we’re very emotional.

I’d like hotels to offer someone to pay for my stay. I shouldn’t be handling money.
